It's not quite possible to replace Google Reader, though the service isn't just an RSS reader — it's also the facto cloud-based RSS syncing service. Many of the Google Reader users don't even use the web app as their primary feed reader, instead they use the service which offers subscription, read, unread and folder information to other RSS clients such as Reeder, NetNewsWire and FeedDemon. The services of Pulse and Flipboard while creating a great way to visualize news and information, those services are not much advantageous to the needs of the power Google Reader user.
Eventhough we seach for a great list of Google Reader alternatives on internet few more times since we're being very common with this service also other Feed readers work better proving high qulity visual content and full readable credity. Let's meet a great list of Google Reader alternatives which are still being used by a largest group of regular blog and website content readers on internet.
Feedly
Too many users are still using Feedly as their favorite Feed Reader replacing Google Reader and the experience what remains intact under Google. The service offers web, Android and iOS applications, which can interact
with your existing Google Reader account or store feeds on its own
backend. The overall interface of Google Reader isn't identical; it's more fluid and Flipboard-esqued, but it offers a number of different views, and will
keep read/unread lists in sync. The most complimentary aspect of Feedly is that the company is committed to making the migration from Google Reader to its own sync servers seamless.
Digg Reader
Digg announcing its RSS reader back in March and delivered the product at the end of June. Digg Reader can share all of Google Reader's keybindings and carries a
minimalistic trend. It also includes an iOS app with an Android version
coming soon.
AOL Reader
An of late entrant into the reader space, AOL launched its reader at the end of June. AOL Reader is sorted out of a hybrid between Flipboard and Feedly.NewsBlur
NewsBlur describing itself as innovated on the shoulders of what
Google Reader built in. A free NewsBlur account offers 64 feeds and 10 feeds in a River of News and you require $24 a year to get unlimited feeds, unlimited rivers
and more share options -- including private and protected shares. Like Google Reader of old, NewsBlur lets users share feeds and stories to one another.
Feedbin
Akin to NewsBlur, Feedbin is an RSS service and an API. It offers a web interface which is very similar to Google Reader and an API that works with a variety of third-party Mac, iOS and Android apps. A few more apps that supports Feedbin also include Mr. Reader for iPad, Press for
Android, Reeder for iPhone and ReadKit for Mac. Feedbin is $3 a month or $30 a year.
Feed Wrangler
One of my favorite feed readers, which is a complete web-based service offering third-party
app support. Like as Feedbin, Feed Wrangler offers a web interface
and native apps for iOS. Feed Wrangler is also supported by Press for Android, Mr. Reader, Reader and ReadKit. It costs $19 a year.
Fever
It's since 5 years when Shaun Inman launched Fever in 2009 a reliable and self-hosted alternative to feed readers such as Google Reader. The service features web app which is optimized to run on mobile or in the desktop, though some third-party apps (including Reeder for iPhone)
support accounts as well.
NetVibes
An old guy but still valued by a large portion of internet users after the initial launch(NetVibes) when it was too popular in the golden era of RSS clients and services. In additio it's an web-based RSS feed reader which also includes iGoogle-style widgets.
OldReader
The Old Reader features itself as "the old Google Reader but
better," and its design and sharing features are similar to pre-October
2011 Google Reader. When users can import feeds from their Google Reader accounts, Old
Reader is having a hard time taking on the Google Reader traffic.
Managing News
Managing News provides an infographial feed reader for RSS favorites and DIYers, nevertheless it's an interesting
project designed to let groups (or individuals). Like Fever, you'll need to install Managing News on your own server and it requires a little more finessing unlike Fever. It's optimized for Drupal with 6 more installation procedures, and getting everything set up can be
tricky for newcomers.
Twitter Lists
I won't say twitter is the exact alternative of Google Reader but for many users it works as an instant alternative since Twitter lists curated by website or influencer are often better
sources of information than traditional RSS feeds. The only trouble is that it is better for source of currnent and breaking news, but not good for or sorting through older
news.
I personally like these two
