What is Baidu?

Baidu is a chinese web search engine (incorporated on January 18, 2000) company headquartered in the Baidu Campus in Haidian District in Beijing, founded by Robin Li and Eric Xu both are Chinese nationals who studied and worked overseas before entering to China. How to Submit Your Website to Baidu Search Engine?

Baidu is as strong search engine like Google, Yahoo and Bing doesn't automatically include any site until or unless it is manually submitted. Also Baidu does not allow you to submit more than 1 URL from Baidu's website submitter. Once submitted successfully Baidu's crawler will start indexing the rest of the materials of your website.

Baidu's search engine is organized in Chinese language so the people who are expert in Chinese language can easily understand the programs other than none can understand it basically if you're from English. So what to do then? We'll use Google Chrome so that we can easily convert the language from Chinese to English and make our task comfortably handled.

1. First of all Open Google Chrome
2. Visit http://www.baidu.com/search/url_submit.html

3. Type your domain name with "http://"
4. Now provide captcha which is in English
5. Finally hit Submit

6. A notification with popups will say "URL Submitted Successfully"
7. Click on Determine
8. You're almost done!

How About Sitemap Submission to Baidu?

To submit a sitemap to Baidu you need to Login Baidu's Webaster tool with an active account, but the problem is that Baidu doesn't support Mail registration (only phone registration available) or they have stopped this service after 2013 so you have to have a verified Chinese mobile phone number other than you could not register with Baidu. 

There is another process to register with Baidu but you have to know Chinese language because after registration Baidu will send you an activation link -> Clicking on that link you will be turned to Chinese Captcha verification process so it's very tough for users those who don't know Chinese language at all.

Ping Your Website/Blog Sitemap to Baidu -

Baidu accepts manual ping service so that anyone can easily submit their blog feed URL using this service without even logging in or you can say anonymously. Baidu ping service can be accessed both from the Baidu webmaster tools account as well as directly without logging into your account. 

Follow the below steps to submit your blog feed to Baidu without logging into webmaster tools account:

1. Click here to access Baidu manual ping service.

2. Enter your blog feed URL and click on the submit button.  

3. Now a confirmation message will appear that says you successfully pinged your blog feed to Baidu
4. Finally it's done!

Submit Website With Sitemap to Yandex Search Engine.

1. First of all Go to Yandex Webmaster Tools

2. If you don' t have an account create it and login webmaster tools
3. After logging in click on My sites or Add site

4. Now on the first step Yandex asks you to add your site -> Simply type your site URL with www.sitename.com format and click on Add button

5. Now on the second step you have to verify your site with Yandex -> Simply copy the meta tag (if you use wordpress then download html file and upload it on your server using File Zilla client or FTP upload option of your server) -> Paste meta tag right before </head> tag or after <head> tag of your blog
6. After adding meta tag click on Check button and it will say verified

7. Now you're on your site dashboard -> Click on Sitemap files under indexing options
8. Now i recommend you to check your sitemap using Yandex sitmap validator before submitting -> So click on validator 

9. Now you have 3 options to validate your sitemap

• Using and .xml sitemap file
• Using default web/blog sitemap URL
• Using sitemap in code

10. For blogger we can use both of the 3 options, how? let's see

• Option 1: Open a new tab of your browser -> Type http://yourblog.blogspot.com/sitemap.xml [replace yourblog with your exact blog name] -> Download the .xml file -> Upload it on Yandex and Check  -> It will be successfully verified

• Option 1: Switch on Link tab -> Type http://yourblog.blogspot.com/sitemap.xml [replace yourblog with your exact blog name] -> Click on Check  -> You will find it verified

• Option 3: Open your downloaded .xml file with wordpad -> Copy entire code and paste on Yandex text sitemap validator box -> Click on Check -> It will be verfied

11. Now turn back to your Yandex sitemap files page -> Add your sitemap link

N.B. For WordPress blog please type http://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml [replace yoursite with your exact sitename]

12. Finally add the sitemap and your all successfully done!

After indexing all of your site pages you will start getting informations for Search Queries, Site Geography, Appearance in Search Results, Securities, and much more technical informations.
